Langhammars, Fårö, Sweden - 9 hours Sound for Focusing - Waves & Wind
9 hours of waves and coastal wind recorded at Langhammars, one of Fårö's most striking raukar sites — built for focus and study rather than sleep.
Langhammars sits further along the same raukar coastline as Digerhuvud, but more exposed to open wind — so alongside the waves themselves, there's a steady, moving air current layered through the whole recording. That combination gives it a slightly brighter, more alert character than the calmer Digerhuvud recording.
Why it works
Adding wind to wave sound raises the overall frequency content slightly compared to waves alone, which some people find easier to stay mentally engaged with during focus work — less likely to lull you toward sleep than a purely low, slow wave rhythm.
How to use it
Positioned specifically for daytime focus and study sessions rather than overnight sleep — a good alternative to the study-oriented white-water recordings if you want something coastal instead.
